These events are usually developed and delivered at
a school’s request to support a curriculum event such as a geography day or a technology day. The EBP provides consultancy and support to develop activities that complement and take forward the learning outcomes and the thrust of the day together with teachers and others from the school.
The EBP then supports the activities during the day with business partners, people to act as judges for presentations, business consultants, speakers and learning resources, if available, so that the day achieves its intended outcomes. Before the event the EBP may provide individual teachers with opportunities to research or experience development activities that will assist their work during the themed event. It may be possible to provide training opportunities for teachers and others in order to support the overall activity.
