
The Work Experience Debriefing Conference should be planned for the students’ first day back in school. Through a range of structured activities, supported by volunteer business consultants, students are given opportunities to recognise and understand new skills acquired and identify how their existing skills have developed as a result of their work experience.

The Work Experience Debriefing Conference allows students to reflect on their work experience, identify links to the curriculum and have a opportunities to compare and contrast different working practices and employment sectors. Students will leave the conference with a clearer understanding of the world of work; will be able to describe and demonstrate the main qualities and skills needed for work and be able to make more informed choices for their future lives.
