The Work Experience Debriefing Conference should be planned for the students’ first day back in school. Through structured activities selected from the list in this document, supported by volunteer business consultants, students are given opportunities to recognise and understand new skills acquired and identify how their existing skills have developed as a result of their work experience.

Students will leave the conference with a clearer understanding of the world of work; will be able to describe and demonstrate the main qualities and skills needed for work and be able to make more informed choices for their future lives.
