A series of role play activities that involve participants working in teams and as individuals, taking on the roles of various economic groupings within society, eg industrialists, voluntary organisations, unemployed / job seeking groups, housebound; with other students acting as observers and reporters. Each group or individual is given a specific task to complete within a given time and observers feed back their findings. This activity supports Citizenship in addition
to Enterprise.
Students will experience, explore and gain an understanding of the relationships and interdependency between the various economic sectors of society – in particular, the chief characteristics of employment, self-employment, unemployment and voluntary work.
